Warranty
Product Warranty Policy
Benmundo stands behind the reliability of our optical networking solutions. All products are subjected to rigorous environmental and performance testing before shipment. To protect your investment, we offer comprehensive warranty coverage on our hardware.
Standard Warranty Periods
Optical Transceivers
Covers 10G, 25G, 100G, 400G, and 800G modules against component failure, signal degradation, and compatibility drops.
DAC & AOC Cables
Covers Direct Attach Copper and Active Optical Cables for signal integrity issues and manufacturing defects.
Networking Equipment
Covers Switches, Routers, and ONU/ONT hardware against spontaneous hardware malfunction.
Warranty Exclusions (What is Not Covered)
Our warranty strictly covers manufacturer defects under normal operating conditions. The warranty does not cover damages resulting from the following:
- Physical Damage: Bent connector pins, cracked housings, broken release latches, or crushed/cut fiber cables.
- Electrical & Environmental Damage: Power surges, lightning strikes, electrostatic discharge (ESD), water/liquid damage, or operating outside the specified temperature range.
- Improper Use & Installation: Forcing incorrect connectors, inserting modules into incompatible ports, or lack of proper ventilation causing thermal damage.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Third-party firmware flashes, attempting to open sealed components, or removal/tampering of the Benmundo serial number label (which immediately voids the warranty).
